The sirocco will probably be the one ranged option for the drifter outside of frames. Assuming this also extends to the undercroft with its 5 minute cycles it would take a total mission time in there of around 340 hours to max it. If the intrinsics are like the ones in railjack and you gain one point per objective (as shown in the devstream) you will need to complete a bit over 4000 objectives to max it. The RNG frame choice will be mostly fine but the RNG weapon choice will be a massive crapshoot since the difference in power between weapons is ludicrous. The only thing actually resetting between runs is probably the decrees and the RNG selection of frames and weapons being cycled. The "generated story" part will probably be thinly veiled bounties, perhaps with a few more objective options but I'm not expecting much. There will probably be two versions of the open world map depending on the cycle, but it could just be enemy/color changes like on deimos. The world looks very interesting and hopefully it will be at least somewhat interesting to explore. My expectation for how this will actually show up: any Content that doesn't do that, it'd better be something pretty short or one time. So i always want the game to continue building on that and reinforcing it. that's why you'd be playing this game and not another. that's the main thing that's actually unique about Warframe vs every other game out there. The Zariman Update was the happiest i've been with the game probably anytime in the past 5 Years, for example.Īnd uh, at minimum half the reason to be playing Warframe at all is the mixture of Combat and Parkour that Warframes are capable of. some of the Content is flexible and supports Players at all parts of the spectrum, and i give them credit where due when Content like that comes to the game. Want, i don't know, but i'm not only complaining about the game. I’m going to keep an open mind, but is there anyone out there who thinks DE legitimately competed with real open world masterpieces like Breath of the Wild when they released the Plains of Eidolon, Fortuna, or the Cambion Drift? Is Lunaro a worthy adversary to Rocket League? Is Break Narmer a solid competitor for the 2004 shooters that seem to inspire it?ĭo you guys really want to keep this eternal loop?, sure the game will NOT die if they keep up with this update loop, but then you will never stop seeing these Warframe complains made by "veterans" complaining about the game being unchallenging and boring. And I'm getting on to play it to make progression. When I hop onto warframe, a fast paced looter shooter mmorpg is what I'm getting on to play. So what adding a rouguelike into the game does, is piss off every player in the game that dislikes rougulikes, and fails to catch the interest of the people that do like them because it can't possibly compete with any game dedicated to being a rouguelike. I guarantee they'd rather be playing a dedicated and well made rougue like instead of whatever half-baked garbage DE shoehorns into the game. Rouguelikes are just not fun to many people. There are many other types of updates that DE has released, and conceivably many more different types they haven’t even attempted.ġ00% this. Lua’s Prey and Citrine’s Last Wish were both solid updates. I enjoy Warframe most when it’s me playing as a frame on a high level mission with options and various variables at play to let me use my arsenal and figure out how to optimize something. I also love slower paced stealth games like Dishonored, but absolutely hate when Warframe attempts something like that with Kahl. Some of my favorite other games are roguelikes (Dead Cells, Hades, Streets of Rogue). "X Update that adds 1 new warframe and 3 new weapons, also adds a boring, unoriginal, reskinned and cheese thru mission with the same cheesy enemies ( cough Citrine crystal mission cough)" Do you really dislike the idea of a fresh new rogue type of gameplay with Duviri with balanced combat and parry mechanics?
